“About 10 years ago, or more, I was looking for a local source for quality beef for my family. Since I was new to the Allegan area I asked for recommendations from friends, neighbors and church acquaintances.

The name that came up, over and over, was Tim Cassidy. My first order was for a 1/4 of a cow and over the years my needs have ebbed and flowed as my family’s needs have changed.

The one thing that has not changed has been the quality of the beef, my relationship with the Cassidy’s and the personal service offered by both Tim and his wife Lisa. Thankfully, they partner with Byron Center Meats who do all the butchering and packaging. That was a big plus for me, especially as a “newbie” purchasing my first “freezer beef”. At the time, I did not have a clue what a “cutting order” was and the helpful staff at Byron Center Meats walked me through the process.
